Amphibious vehicle that's more boat than car, yet can get across public roads. Does this exist?

-I have long term plans to move to Mexico, DMV laws are lax there. Just wondering if theirs anything that can get across a public road, yet is a full fledged boat when you get it in the water. Sea legs isn't doing it for me.They exist, but they aren't very good. It was a better car, and not much of a boat. It would only be good in calm waters.Sure they do.. they have only been around for maybe 40 YEARS or so now. A couple of them were even sold on BARRET JACKSON AUCTION about a year ago.. for about $40,000 EACH if I remember correctly.. how many do you want to buy?
