Can a 2000 S10 V6 pull a 20 ft boat.?

-I have a 20 ft boat that weighs about 2100 lbs with an outboard that weighs about 500. I was looking at a 2000 S10 V6 and wanted to know if it could handle the load.It's right on the limit of what I would use to pull that size boat. For short distances on level ground maybe. But, pulling that size boat up a launch ramp, i think you are asking for trouble. I'd go with a full size van with a V-8. Add the weight of your trailer to the above numbers and gear like coolers, and fuel, and your load is more like 3200 pounds. (heaver if you have a 2 axle trailer (required in some states.) .
