-Are you trimming the motor in all the way when you take off? That could fix the whole problem. Changing the prop probably wouldn't fix the issue.you need to drop an inch or two in the pitch of the prop.you probably won't loose much,if any speed as the engine will be operating closer to the max rpm. if your prop is in good shape, a good prop shop should be able to fix the problem.be sure to note the rpm that the engine is running at wot and relay that to the prop shop.another option is to buy an adjusable composite prop, and fine tune it to find out what you need, and keep it for a spare. get the extra hardware(thrust washer, etc.) and the tools to change it and keep them onboard.
A prop will help by putting a lower pitch prop on but you will loose top speed. can you move some weigh around? I have seen boats with bird shot or some kind of weigh in the bow.I would move weigh be for a prop.
I assume it is trimmed right on plane.Adding power trim will fix it too it is big bucks
