-I think it is a crafting device. I don't know what it is called. There is an example of it in a commercial.
The commercial is for Lyrica. The lady is working with jewelry. This device has a stand and it has some kind of metal stick that looks like it has a prong like a two prong fork.
Anyone know what it is and where I can find it?
Thankswhen i was much younger, i used to build model cars.
i had a set of something called "helping hands". it was a heavy base with a pole sticking a few inches up out of it. on the pole there was two flexible "arms" with alligator clips to hold things, and another "arm" with a magnigying glass.
i had found it at an auto parts store in teh $5 tool bin, but i've seen it at hardware stores in the same cheap tool bins.My Darling "R",
It is called a Third Hand. It is commonly used by those that do fine articulate work with hobby building, such as miniture ship building, model cars and those who work with building small electronic circuits.
I would check first at Radio Shack. I am sure you could find it there.
Alll my love,
Anthony
Probably nowhere near the right answer, but I am going to guess that it's a Theremin. If you don't know what that is, try looking it up, it's one of the most interesting instruments I've ever seen.
