Salavage boat dont have registration for it?

-we got a salavage boat and my husband fix it up how do we get a registration in tenn

it was giving to us dont know who the orignal owner is and it dont have any numbers or vin numberA salvaged boat comes with a title If U have acquired it and call it salvaged U will have issues. The boat was registered to some 1 and U should of found out before U did the repairs.If after 1970 the there was a vin # on the starboard upper corner on the transom if ground off U have more issues.Look close on the bow as you should be able to read the old # if they were taken off the shadow will still be there then U can locate the owner and see what deal U can make to get the title.
any boat built before 1974 won't have a hin [vin]number,in tenn. go to the local clerk's office and apply for a salvage tittle,you will need to fill out an affidavit stating the boat is yours,no problem
