Can you legally rowboat in a river under 18?

-There's a small river in a park that I would like to take an inflatable two person rowboat across to a neighborhood. Is this allowed? I'm under 18, no specific age needs to be mentioned.Well this is a world wide forum and you don't say where you hail from.

In most countries, you can row a boat at any age. Read up on the rules of boat navigation, as even though you will have right of way over most other boats, you will still need be obliged to navigate correctly, for example staying to the starboard side of the river.

There are also some commonsense things you should observe:

Don't overload your boat. If it is a 2-person inflatable, keep it that way.

Wear a lifejacket or life-vest each

Keep a bailer on board (cut down a plastic juice bottle will do - no sharp edges in an inflatable though)

A torch if you are out after dark.

Consider keeping an extra oar and rowlock in case you lose or break one. (or even a small paddle)

In theory you should have a small anchor and rode and a throw rope/painter on board.

A horn or some way of alerting fast boats coming around blind corners

Keep out of the way of large vessels that look like they need to stay in the deepest part of the river.

Let someone on shore know when you leave and when you aim to be back.
probably, i meen its not like the cops are gonna stop ya for it, unless ya do summing stupid and get sum next outboard on it :)
far as i know any vehicle that is not powered by a motor or engine should ;nt need a license to be operated
