-FIRST you need to do your own HOMEWORK and THEN you need to determine what those parameters relate to in terms of POWER.. One Horsepower is 780 WATTS. You obviously don't know enough about this subject to even know YOUR FIGURES ARE MEANINGLESS.. because you don't specify WHAT those 30,000 CUBIC FEET PER SECOND at 60 POUNDS PER SQUARE INCH are PUSHING AGAINST and HOW IT'S GEARED. 30,000 fps at 60psi MEANS NOTHING.. it sounds like something one of those 20 somethings that know even less than you do would write in a NEWS STORY about a FLOOD.How much horsepower will 30,000cfs of water at 60psi produce?
Horsepower is the product of the pressure of a fluid substance in psi, acting on a known area in square inches, the distance through which this pressure acts in inches and the number of times that this happens in one minute, all divided by the constant 33,000.
If you substitute dimensions in the above you have force over distance squared, multiplied by distance squared, multiplied by distance, multiplied by time in minutes, all divided by a constant.
You have all of the information needed to satisfy what is required to calculate the H.P. You just have to make the necessary conversions of the units.
Now do your own homework. Doing the sums for you will not help you to learn anything.
