Looking for Oil Ship Jobs, companies?

-I'm 18, graduated high school and recently a friend of mine mentioned I should look into Oil Ships. I live in PEI, Canada. My friend said that I should look for companies that work all around the world, because that is something that I want to do, is travel.



Any suggestions in companies that are hiring? I heard there was a good one in newfoundland that was 5 weeks on and then 5 weeks off.

Also, could anyone give me more information about the type of work you would do, how are your days split into? And how much is the average pay for these jobs?
